Name ~ Meredith (mair-uh-dith). Most people shorten this to Mere not too long after meeting me. lol. Online, it's SpiffyMere. (I used that as a screen name back in the 90's and it's stuck with me ever since!)

Birthday/Age ~ April 23, 1986. That makes me 23. I'm a classic example of age just being a number. I'm definitely not what I had in mind for 23!

Native Homeland ~ I've lived in Baltimore County, Maryland, USA all my life. I wouldn't mind changing this...

Education ~ Received a high school diploma a year early (2003) thanks to my strong feelings against traditional schooling leading me to a correspondence/online program. Took a year off before starting at TU. Graduated magna cum laude in May 2008 with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. THRILLED to be finished with school!

Job ~ I've worked in the general merchandise department of my university's store since June 2005. It's my first job and I landed it thanks to being my brother's sister. I do various tasks with pretty much everything we sell that isn't a textbook. My co-workers are highly entertaining people and they're one of the reasons I've stayed this long. (I did leave in May 2009 when I took a summer job with the County Government, but I hadn't found a place to go when it ended and was invited to come back.)

Future ~ Basically, I just want the typical things almost everyone wants in life...to be happy, successful, and loved. I truly hope the good things come to those who wait principle applies to me!

Random Facts ~ I drive a Hyundai Tiburon named Tibby. I've been to 6 foreign countries (Canada, England, France, Germany - airport only, Sweden, Switzerland - airport only), 14 US states (CA, CT, DE, FL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, OR, PA, RI, VA, WA, WV) and DC. I suffer from the fear of admitting to liking music (100% serious). I'm the right-handed child of left-handed parents. I was baptized Lutheran (Christian), but have never been much of a church-goer. I barely ever change my desktop. My ancestors hailed from Ireland, Italy, Poland, and Scotland. I see no legitimate reason to ever consume alcohol and have much respect for the few who agree with me. I'm politically unaffiliated and despise the discussion of politics. People like to compliment me on my handwriting. I can't remember what got me into webdesign, but I started in early 1999.
